About our facilityThe facility's first design, construction, and managed contract were awarded by the United States Department of Justice, legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) in 1984 as a 506 bed facility. Recently remodeled and expanded in 2005, this is a now 905-bed security facility, currently housing both female and male undocumented migrants for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), legacy INS. The site is a one-story, single-building facility. The detainee housing areas consist of 29 dormitories that each house approximately 35 detainees. All dormitories have large dayroom areas with tables, chairs, microwaves, television sets and board games.
