Managed Care Coordinator

IHSC is seeking a motivated individual to assume the position of MCC to manage health care in a specialized population. The MCC preauthorizes detainee health care services utilizing a benefits package. The MCC directs, controls, and coordinates off-site and non-routine medical care for individuals in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) housed in detention facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to 1) case management, 2) utilization review, 3) placement for detainees with special medical needs, 4) bed management, 5) medical escorts, 6) maintenance of annual budgets/expenditures and 7) conducts site visits to educate detention staff members regarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Served approximately two-years in a IHSC assignment or
• 2 years midlevel experience or
• 2 years nursing experience for the MCC.
